I really love the situation for the children. Previously we had a ad hoc situation, whoever was there and felt up to it took the children. It ended up being the same people all of the time, and for some people, it was every time they came to meeting. It is wonderful to be with the children, but not every time. Ms. Donna may not be a Quaker, but she is doing a wonderful job caring for our kids and her lessons are right in line with our values.
I agree, I have attempted to participate in other spiritual groups which failed to include and support the children. Needless to say I wonder how they justify there participation if the children aren't given support and encouragement to develop relationships and interaction with other children in asimilar setting. Having come to know Donna through the school, I can't imagine finding anyone with whom I would be more comfortable.
